LENS CLOSE-UP

NATURAL LIGHT

WARM LIGHT

FLASH

Color&Design:
A reddish and earthy tone of brown with a slightly yellow center burst. The limbal ring is black and quite thick so a dolly look is easily achieved with these. There are several lenses that have imitated these ones but I'd say nothing beats the original. The design is detailed and you can see that in close ups.

Enlargement:
Very large but not over the top. I recommend wearing heavier lashes with these as the size and dolly-ness of them can be quite over powering if worn with natural makeup.

Comfort:
Very comfortable. I experienced very little dryness and did not feel them in my eyes.

Overall:
These could very well be my go to lenses if I wanted to doll out without having to look too fake. They aren't just cute though, the looks that can be achieved with these are endless! I am happy to jump on to the mimi chocolate lenses bandwagon :P

 FLORESCENT LIGHT

Color&Design:
My favorite brown lenses so far! It's not natural, but somehow it isn't too fake looking either. The color is like a honey/golden brown with lighter tones of brown mixed with darker ones. There is a dark limbal ring which adds a doll touch to them as well as enlargement. The design is very much like the other mimi series, it's just that the colors for these blend in together more and isn't as harsh.

Enlargement:
15.0mm and this is just right, it's enlarging but the size does not draw in too much attention.

Comfort:
The comfort is average-comfy, as I have dry eyes when it comes to lenses I'd need eye drops after 3-5 hours, which is still pretty darn good.

Overall:
Like I said, these are my favorite brown lenses so far! The design is cute yet works for a more "mature" look rather than just being dolly. Though they are bright and vibrant, I'd still be able to wear these out with a casual look. For any girl who love gyaru, these are perfect too ^^

My Review:

Color and Design: 5/5
I love the color of these lens! its light gray on the outside and it transitions to a brown as it gets closer to the pupil. The design is simple and it looks very natural.
Enlargement: 2/5
It seems to not to much of an enlargement effect.
Comfort: 5/5
These are the most comfortable lenses I've worn. it doesn't stress my eyes and it doesn't blurr my vision. With other contacts that's really common. I can probably wear those for 5 hours and my eyes would start hurting. But these I can wear all day, and it doesn't even feel like I am wearing them.
Overall: 5/5
These are natural, comfortable and beautiful. I wear them everyday!

GEO Princess Mimi Starmish Brown

*GUEST POST*

I've previously used Princess mimi lenses before and absolutely loved them, so when I found out about a new Starmish colour I had to try them. This lens is the same big 15mm lens as preview princess mimi lenses and the same comfort. I wore these all day and didn't have a problem with them drying up, which is usually a big problem with circle lenses and ones that are this big in diameter as well.

These lenses came with a cute animal case and the princess mimi designed bottles. I suggest when you open it you flip the lid strongly and have tweezers and pliers ready if you make a mistake because the metal edges of these contacts are sharp.

I made the mistake of once taking unopened bottles out with me and then having to spend 20 minutes trying to pry them open carefully without cutting myself because I opened them wrong - not fun.

The lenses in the solution look like a bright yellow honey colour, but this colour will look a lot more natural on, especially if you have darker eyes like myself.

The color to me is my favourite part, the brown is very golden, and bright, looking like a cool brown with flash. You can see the colour difference in the images.

I recommend this colour for anyone wanting to get a bright golden brown doe- eye look. This colour is better than a natural brown because it gives a little bit of brightness to your look that is still quite natural. I'm a huge fan of light brown and hazel eyes so this is one of the most perfect colours. Especially goes well with brown and light brown hair.

Comfort level: 4/5 - these started feeling a bit dry at the 12 hour mark which is pretty good.
Color and appearance: 5/5 - this is fast becoming one of my favourite pair of lenses to wear.

Color&Design:
They really are an almond color! Or taupe if you want to get more technical with the color - a dark brown with a slight tint of grey. The design is really simple as you can see from the lens shot and the limbal ring is fairly thick, but not too overpowering. As for the kind of look it gives off, a natural dolly look is what it is~

Enlargement:
Diameter: 15mm
I think this size for enlargement is good. If it were a tad bit smaller, I'd like it even more :P

Comfort:
I thought these were quite comfy! I did experience a bit of dryness after 5 hours but for me that is good because I tend to have drier eyes.

Comparisons Between:
Grang Grang Brown vs Grang Grang Choco vs Mimi Almond Brown

Overall:
These are probably my most natural pair of lenses I have aside from my grang grang lenses (which I reviewed: HERE). I like how they don't make your eyes appear black or honey colored (though I do like honey brown colored eyes too). These are just strictly brown.

Do you prefer natural lenses over vibrant and bold lenses?
I can't say, I like both! depending on my mood and what kind of look I am aiming for :)

GEO Grang Grang Lenses Review

I'm here with a post reviewing the two GEO Grang Grang lenses ^^ These are also the lenses that you could win in both my giveaway and LensVillage Blog's Giveaway

Our giveaway ends on March 10th BTW!
So go join naoooo

There are two designs and both come in two different sizes, which I am so so so grateful for because 17.0mm and even 15.0mm kinda scare me off :S In this review I'll be talking about each design, one in a bigger size than the other :)

I figured out what that "B" is for!! It stands for big :3
You know, since there are two sizes for the same design.

Color&Design:
They are a honey brown color and make your eyes lighter. The design makes it so that if there is a halo, the light brown peeks through, adding a crystal-like look to your iris. These are very natural as well so they blend in well with my eyes.

Enlargement:
Diameter: 15.00mm
It's called "Big" for a reason. And they are! They are huge!
I am so glad that the big grang grang browns were sent to me rather than the big choco ones. Because these do not have a dark rim, the enlargement isn't frightening and doesn't make it appear too out there.

Comfort:
These were super thin when I poured them out of their vials.. the thinnest lenses I ever owned. I thought they were going to be too flimsy to even stick in my eye O.O haha But all was well :) The comfort level of these lenses were not outstanding but they were quite comfortable.

Overall:
I like them ^^ They are great as every day natural lenses that brighten up your eyes. These are one of the first natural brown lenses I've owned(aside from the choco grang grang lenses :P) so maybe that's why I like them so much.

One full face photo:
I couldn't rotate this photo :(
Hope it still shows how the lenses look though.

Color&Design:
The color of these lenses are a chocolate brown and also blend in well with my eyes. They do make my eyes appear darker and rounder as the rim of the lenses are darker than my natural eye color. As for the design, it looks like many tiny shards of thin crystals, very pretty in my imo ^^ Too bad you can't see them more clearly when worn though :( But they do give a glossier effect to your eyes.

Enlargement:
Diameter: 14.2mm
These are more like it :) I have always preferred smaller sized lenses, and I probably always will :P The enlargement is very subtle but still make a difference. I rated this a 3 only because in general, these are quite average in terms of enlargement.

Comfort:
These were super thin as well, so I did not feel them at all. I am pretty sure that I have dry eyes when it comes to contacts though .___. so my eyes did dry out after 2 hours or so.

Overall:
I like the Choco Browns as well, GEO did a good job in producing the grang grang line. I could wear these out knowing that others won't think my eyes look huge and well, googly? haha If only they didn't dry out my eyes T^T
Also, these are a good opt for black lenses if you don't want to look like someone without a soul. (I had black lenses before and that's what people told me :S)

Face spam time!

So just to compare the two designs and the enlargement differences:

What are your thoughts on the Grang Grang Lenses?
