GEO Grang Grang Lenses Review

I'm here with a post reviewing the two GEO Grang Grang lenses ^^ These are also the lenses that you could win in both my giveaway and LensVillage Blog's Giveaway

Our giveaway ends on March 10th BTW!
So go join naoooo

There are two designs and both come in two different sizes, which I am so so so grateful for because 17.0mm and even 15.0mm kinda scare me off :S In this review I'll be talking about each design, one in a bigger size than the other :)

I figured out what that "B" is for!! It stands for big :3
You know, since there are two sizes for the same design.

Color&Design:
They are a honey brown color and make your eyes lighter. The design makes it so that if there is a halo, the light brown peeks through, adding a crystal-like look to your iris. These are very natural as well so they blend in well with my eyes.

Enlargement:
Diameter: 15.00mm
It's called "Big" for a reason. And they are! They are huge!
I am so glad that the big grang grang browns were sent to me rather than the big choco ones. Because these do not have a dark rim, the enlargement isn't frightening and doesn't make it appear too out there.

Comfort:
These were super thin when I poured them out of their vials.. the thinnest lenses I ever owned. I thought they were going to be too flimsy to even stick in my eye O.O haha But all was well :) The comfort level of these lenses were not outstanding but they were quite comfortable.

Overall:
I like them ^^ They are great as every day natural lenses that brighten up your eyes. These are one of the first natural brown lenses I've owned(aside from the choco grang grang lenses :P) so maybe that's why I like them so much.

One full face photo:
I couldn't rotate this photo :(
Hope it still shows how the lenses look though.

Color&Design:
The color of these lenses are a chocolate brown and also blend in well with my eyes. They do make my eyes appear darker and rounder as the rim of the lenses are darker than my natural eye color. As for the design, it looks like many tiny shards of thin crystals, very pretty in my imo ^^ Too bad you can't see them more clearly when worn though :( But they do give a glossier effect to your eyes.

Enlargement:
Diameter: 14.2mm
These are more like it :) I have always preferred smaller sized lenses, and I probably always will :P The enlargement is very subtle but still make a difference. I rated this a 3 only because in general, these are quite average in terms of enlargement.

Comfort:
These were super thin as well, so I did not feel them at all. I am pretty sure that I have dry eyes when it comes to contacts though .___. so my eyes did dry out after 2 hours or so.

Overall:
I like the Choco Browns as well, GEO did a good job in producing the grang grang line. I could wear these out knowing that others won't think my eyes look huge and well, googly? haha If only they didn't dry out my eyes T^T
Also, these are a good opt for black lenses if you don't want to look like someone without a soul. (I had black lenses before and that's what people told me :S)

Face spam time!

So just to compare the two designs and the enlargement differences:

What are your thoughts on the Grang Grang Lenses?

[REVIEW] EOS G-307 Gothic Green

Hello!

These are the EOS G-307 Gothic Green that I purchased a few months ago in a little circle lens spree I had. I recently opened them, so I'd like to review them on here as well ^^

In that spree I also purchased the Gothic Turquoise(which I think they sent me the Sapphires though O.o - I reviewed the blue ones HERE if anyone is interested) and Violets. I haven't opened the Violets yet but once I do, I will be sure to review them on here too.

Design&Color:
The color is a hazel-green and does not appear too striking in color at all. A very natural lens color and the design blends in very well with my natural eye color.

Enlargement:
Lens Diameter: 14.5 They enlarge naturally and give off a little halo effect. I am okay with all lenses in this area, but for those who like the dolly eyes look, this might not be what you want.

Comfort:
I did feel a little dryness as time went by, otherwise, they were pretty comfortable.

Overall:
The lenses are very pretty and natural. I purchased these expecting them to be like how they look in the modeled photos. You could tell that they are green, however, I was disappointed in how dark they turned out to be.  But to those who look for natural enlargement and color, the Gothic Series definitely should be what you are looking for.

I created a post about natural colored circle lenses, and I included the Gothic Series in that category. I want to let you know though, that I purchased these before knowing how dark they would turn out to be. So that is why I was disappointed with the outcome of the lenses :(

Hope the review helped ^^
These are photos taken by me, without any edits made so what you see is what you get here :)

Differences Between: Feizl vs. Ulzzang vs. Gyaru

SPOT THE DIFFERENCE!!

Okok, so let's get some things straight. What.. or who are Feizl's? Ulzzang?? Gyaru!?

OVERALL, all three focus a lot on the big eyes, small nose, thin lips. They are known as Net Idols(ulzzang and feizl). They are pretty/cute/sexy people(men or females) that are recognized and are pretty much famous due to their looks(once again, applies more to ulzzang and feizl). They have many similarities but there are slight differences in their looks and fashion sense.

They achieve the big eyes by use of makeup and of course, Circle Lens.

Well, what are they?

Definitions of Ulzzang:
"True definition is "best & "face" = best face in korean. They are basically people with above average looks, sometimes with the use of photoshop and haduri who post their pics online, some becoming internet celebrities."
"The eyes being the main focus and concept of the look. They usually use lots of products to make their eyes very large, such as eyelid glue, Korean cosmetic circle lenses, eyeliner, long fake eyelashes, etc. They also usually have fair skin, a small nose and thin small lips, just like anime characters. They use a lot of editing websites such as Photoshop and Haduri to edit their pictures to make them even more prettier.
Some people find Ulzzangs incredibly cute and attractive, while others find them fake looking and hideous. All in all, Ulzzang has grown into nothing more than a stereotyped look, which will always be judged and have opinions, for the good or the bad."
Taken from urban dictionary(although this dictionary isn't the most accurate, these pretty much do the job). I must disagree on the eyelid glue part now though. As many ulzzangs undergo surgery(that ranges from forehead/rhinoplasty/eyelid/jaw shaping(aka, shaving the jawline)/cheekbone etc. surgery) rather than having to use those products. They aim for a more natural look compared to gyarus and feizls. Ulzzangs before did not focus on lashes until quite recently though. They do not particularly aim to be like "anime characters" from what I understand. More like, dolls. Porcelain dolls.
And it is a Korean term.

Define Gyaru: Read from wiki to understand the actual background - LINK

Aside from the true meaning of gyaru, many associate it with a type of style. There are many types of gyaru, I will not go into details as that is WAY too much information.
**Click HERE for a more detailed list of gyarus.

Simply put, their looks are described as doll-like girls as well, but not the porcelain type dolls, more like... anime? CUTE BIG EYES. is what a lot of people might generally say, but once again, there are many types. Eyelid glue or surgery is common for many gyaru models/gals. Gyaru's don't depend much on skin tone, more on the makeup, hair and style. Males are called gyaruo btw ^^
A Japanese term.

Feizl.

Pretty much like gyaru and ulzzang. Except this is known more as Chinese Net Idols. They can be similar to either ulzzangs or gyarus I find.

So it does take a while to see the differences. And some just will never get it xD
I hope this would help anyone who questions the differences though. As time goes by, you can just automatically see the differences. Most of the differences are based solely on race though. But recently some looks just incorporate each others... looks.

SIMPLY PUT. THEY ARE GOOD LOOKING PEOPLE. ha
could've said that from the start =________=''

** Pictures are all just taken off google, some are older but I hope you guys get the point :P

What are your thoughts on Feizls, Ulzzangs and Gyarus?

Design&Color:
Very pretty! and very noticeable as well. I wouldn't say that they are the least bit natural but that's not the point of why people get the bambi greys. The center burst of the lenses help in minimizing the intensity of the grey color though. The dark limbal ring also further enlarges the appearance of the eyes, achieving that "big dolly eyes" look.  There is a bluish tint to the grey color.

Enlargement:
HUGE I tell ya, HUGE.
These are 15.0mm and the largest I have gone is 14.5 and to me, that was already big. I love large lenses on others, maybe I am not used to it on myself but I must say, I don't mind it with these lenses. a TOTAL DOLLY type of lens.

Comfort:
When I wore these, I felt nothing. This surprised me as they are 15mm. But I wore them for about 6hrs without feeling a thing. And I usually have dry eyes when it comes to contact lenses, however, these lenses have a high water content which would explain the comfort.

Overall:
Final verdict of GEO Bambi Greys are that I LOVE THEM. Seriously, the rave about them is all true and I am happy that I got my hands on these. They are very pretty and vibrant yet not bug eyed.
